In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Most Merciful

Welcome to Hoda Magazine, a digital platform for your inquiries. We talk about almost anything and everything from an Islamic perspective, in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and his household, the Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them all). Whether you are a Muslim, a Non-Muslim, or just passing by, feel free to surf the site to quench your curiosities.

Islam is not just a belief. It is a way of life which guides us in all aspects of our life. In the Qur’an it states:

وَلَقَد جِئناهُم بِكِتابٍ فَصَّلناهُ عَلىٰ عِلمٍ هُدًى وَرَحمَةً لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ

Certainly We have brought them a Book, which We have elaborated with knowledge, as a guidance and mercy for a people who have faith. (Qur’an 7:52)

As a reflection of this, Hoda, meaning guidance, was established in 2005. Hoda Magazine has been founded with the aim to promulgate the true message of Islam for anyone seeking to increase their knowledge. In a desire to go global, we went from print to solely digital in 2016. With the constant media bombardment and recent rise of Islamophobia, trying to delineate factual Islamic information, particularly in this technological era where transmission of information is expeditious, has become challenging. By digitizing and presenting quality, well-referenced, and comprehensible articles, we hope to provide a reliable source according to the Twelver Shia school of thought. Although strenuous efforts have been made in the screening of the content, we cannot guarantee the absence of erroneous data from our authors, and therefore do not claim responsibility for them.
